5 stars for food, service and quality. Aside from wait times one of my favorite eat out places. I drive by every weekend looking for breakfast and 3 out of 4 times I just pass by because the line is out the door. Definately one of my favorite breakfast places. But also everyone else's too.

Great omelettes better than Bruce's Deli nice clean busy Deli with good bagels and potatoes and speedy staff. Definitely a new breakfast spot! When in West Boca try Long Island Bagel and Deli.

Love Long Island Bagel. Good food, exceptionally clean and great service. We are in season people and anywhere you go where the food is good, there will be a wait. The owner does take your name and I have never waited more then 15 minutes. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Good food, good service! I'm not really a deli person but this is a nice authentic New York style Jewish deli.

The food is great, the price is right, and the service is good. What more can you ask?

Gotta say being from New York these bagels are spot on. I went in and order to go and glad I did because for a Tuesday morning their dine-in area was busy as can be. Looking at the bagel case and seeing how weirdly huge their bagels were I was a little skeptical but after getting home and putting some cream cheese on it and having my first bite I can now say I am an official FAN!! Eating breakfast this morning reminded me of the type of breakfast I would get if I was being lazy at home and didn't want to go any where fancy; I would just order breakfast from my local corner store. Now I know many of you must be thinking "well if you're ordering it from a corner store, how good can it be?" well let me tell you NY corner stores have pretty amazing breakfast. Probably one of the things I miss most from living in NYC is the corner stores where you could find almost anything. I've found my NY corner store in Long Island Bagel and Deli for sure will be returning!!

Really good. Can't believe I've lived near this place four years and never went. Just got takeout with their $19.99 coupon: chicken salad sandwich (great, could only eat 1/4 of it); pastrami on rye (husband liked, I've yet to try), pickles, very good potato salad and huge container of delicious chicken soup. Also, a knish..yet to try that. Enough leftover for dinner and then some... I'm off the hook for cooking today. This is cheaper than grocery shopping and no clean up.

3.5 I'm not from Looooooooooooong Island and I don't care about the bagel bragging rights so many places get caught up in. I know what I like and I like this place. I've never eaten inside, always take-out, but it's enough for me to want to share my thoughts. Counter service is always friendly. Prices are reasonable. Bagels are really delicious. Lox or nova, whatever is not salty, that is great too. It's a bagel place. It's not Katz's Deli. We're in Boca, not New York. Learn to appreciate the little things and if that means grabbing a half dozen with some smear on a Sunday morning then so be it.

This place is always slammed on the weekend and the food is good but not amazing. The bagels are not normal dense NY bagels but are much more fluffy and similar consistency to a dinner roll but are still pretty light and delicious. The waitresses are really friendly and service is very quick once you are seated. The prices are also very fair and all breakfast specials before 11am come with coffee, which is a really nice benefit. The host who also serves as the check-out guy (because you pay at the register) has a bit of an attitude and seems very disorganized which is a bit of a turn off. who wants to stand in a line to get in and then another line to pay? Overall if you are in West Boca it's a decent breakfast place, cheap and fast. Nothing amazing here though.

My official Sunday place. I can afford to take my family here for eggn, bagels, cou try potatoes etc for a decent price... For those of you that complained about the bagels NOT being "long island" bagels.... Well we are NOT in NY, idiots. For FLORIDA, these are damn good bagels, and they have EGG bagels too, which nobody around here has

Best deli in town. Friendly service, but needs more staff and more tables for the customers. I love the food but service needs to be faster and the wait time redused

Grilled foods are relatively good, no complains here - quite standard on all fronts, Matzo ball soup was also quite good; though their wraps and sandwhiches are quite poor and tasteless.

Love this place. The fact they have pork roll on the menu made my day. I'm a jersey girl and this is the closet thing to Ny/NJ food I can get down here. Plus you can get anything you want to go or cut from the deli section.

Just found this place on the way back home...was actually in line at Burger King in the same shopping center (needed something quick) and when standing in line I saw the bagel place and thought 'I can wait 2 minutes more'. Ordered a tuna on bagel, matzoh ball w/chicken noodle soup, and a doc brown's. I thought it was fantastic. Bagels were delicious as was the Tuna. We commented it was some of the best we had down here. In fact we liked it so much that we went the next day with the kids. I had the same thing and the kids had egg salad...all was great. Will return.

Holy Cow...almost no bread tastes right in this state, but somehow these guys make a righteous bagel. I'll be one more displaced New Yorker coming here weekly!

These people are SLOW and STUPID. Preordered some bagels to pickup bc I was in a rush to make a boat trip. It took 20 minutes to pay for the food and I missed my trip. The bagels themselves are a joke compared to real New York bagels. I live in Long Island so I know that these aren't even close. Go to west side bagel for a better bagel and faster service.

Worst service, terrible attitudes, mediocre food but only after you send it back twice. Dont waste your time.

Not sure what the hype is....My first time here. Had the breakfast special -- 2 eggs scrambled/home fries/bagel/coffee. The bagel was a bagel nothing special about it. Breakfast was okay, can't really mess that up. The service was SLOWER than slow. I almost got up to offer my help!! I could most definitely move at a faster pace and I'm a lot older than those servers. Hellos, Smiles, 'I'll be right with you' NON EXISTENT. The servers appear to be very unhappy. I'm just saying..... The owner takes cash at the register. Appears to be genuinely nice. The 3 stars are for the food Minus 3 stars, if there was such a thing, for the service.

I come here at least twice a month with my parents. Great breakfast special...price can't be beat...bagels are great. Weekends are totally packed so come early

I think if they served these bagels on the island they'd be out of business. Too fluffy, use small salt not the regular kind, too much garlic on the everything, way too doughy. Won't even go back if I'm really dying for one. I would drive to Brooklyn Bagel in Delray instead.

Miss the tall kid behind the deli counter; always had a smile and a "have a great day".....

No, No No. These are NOT Long Island bagels!!! Just because the restaurant name says Long Island does NOT make them Long Island bagels. I have been eating REAL Long Island bagels for 49 years. These so called bagels would be considered ROLLS not bagels on the Island, Queens, Brooklyn or Manhattan. Or even New Jersey for that matter. If you want a roll than by all means come here. If your seeking a real New York style bagel please trust me when I say you will be highly disappointed. I stopped in here yesterday morning to pick up some takeout for breakfast and lunch. I really didn't want to go to Publix, so I wanted to get enough stuff so I would have leftovers for todays lunch as well. That didn't happen because just about everything I purchased wound up in my garbage. Bagels: Ridiculously large thick circular balls of dough. As we all know, bagels usually have a whole in the middle. Not here. There is just a little area in the middle that looks like they pressed it or something to make it look pretty. Veggie Cream Cheese: The cream cheese was watered down and had a runny texture. It did have lots of veggies that appeared to be fresh. But because the cream cheese was not thick it ran off my piece of bagel that I attempted to eat. Tuna Salad: They use Hellman's mayo so I thought it would be good. What I didn't notice is that they use the dark or chunk light tuna. I only eat white tuna so I wouldn't have liked this anyway. Whitefish Salad: Looked delicious. I opened the container and started to gag. It smelled horrible. Listen, I am Jewish & I know that these salads smell a little fishy. This whitefish salad took fishy to a whole new level. I actually had to spray my kitchen with a room freshener to get rid of the stink. Luckily I purchased tiny amounts of both the tuna & the whitefish salad. Potato Salad: I couldn't find the potatoes because they were literally swimming in mayo. I like mayo within moderation but this was disgusting. The counter service people were very nice. Probably even from New York. What did impress me was that the counter guy greeted everybody by name. And the customers coming up to the register to pay all looked happy. Maybe my expectations were set high because I was expecting an authentic NY bagel. I purchased very small amounts of the above items. I noticed the cashier rang up something for 8.50 & I knew I didn't buy anything that expensive. I pointed it out to him and he accidently charged me 8.50 for an item that was actually 2.50. I am sure it was just an accidental mistake. We all make them. It was no big deal because he corrected it right away. In my opinion the name Long Island Bagel is very deceiving. If it said Long Island Rolls I would understand. But they are selling bagels and this Ex LI girl was extremely let down.

If you are looking for an authentic New York style deli, this is one of the many options in Boca Raton. The deli counter houses some of the delicious deli options you expect to find at a place like this. Things like white fish, nova, lox, various spreads and salads. The bagel selection is nice. The prices are reasonable. The food is what you what would expect from a place like this. Sometimes I do get concerned that they are more focused on "turning over tables" than service since you sometimes feel rushed. That is understandable though because if you show up at the wrong time, the lines get a little long. Overall decent deli with tasty food and wide selection.

Loved my fresh bagel and cream cheese. Thanks for wrapping in open-face so my 2 kinds of cream cheese didn't mix! I didn't even ask for that! Thanks for being quick! Took me back to LI too!

My first and only visit was ~11 on Saturday. It took me ~25 minutes to walk out with my bagel order. Overall, i liked the bagels and would go back but only on a weekday and if i'm in the area / if convenient. Negative: 1. HIGHLY disorganized entry area. Chaotic. No organization to people ordering, people paying and people waiting to be seated. No attempt by management to bring order to the chaos. 2. Once i placed my order it was misplaced. My order was a simple bagel-to-go....i should have been in and out. My 25 mins would have been longer were i not assertive (holding my place in "line", ask for status of order, etc). 3. I paid for 18 bagels and rec'd only 15. Positive: 1. Fair price 2. I liked the bagels. Some folks would definitely find them too doughy...but the bagel was to my liking.

I have had takeout from this place quite a few times. Their prices are reasonable and the portions are large. I like their platters, everything has always been fresh. I have never gotten any tomatoes or onions that didn't seem freshly sliced. Plus I've never gotten any wilted lettuce. The food is your typical NY style deli, which is good, but nothing truly original or memorable, just good old fashioned deli. So it's really 4 stars, not 5 just because there's really no "original" menu items that have caught my eye. As far as the atmosphere, I've only eaten here 2 times, but really wasn't that comfortable. First of all, it's always so crowded. Secondly, that huge mirror that is on the wall is really distracting when you see your reflection when you look up from eating.

Went in for a quick breakfast, became my official Sunday breakfast place with friends and family. All the waitresses and staff are friendly to a point you feel at home..

A side of curly hair with that order?? I order scrambled eggs and home fries. The waitress asked if I would like a bagel or toast? I said I can't eat bread. Could I have a slice of tomato instead? She tells me no you have already picked that side you have to have a bagel or toast. lol I have never been put in this situation before. I guess someone in my party will go home with a free bagel. I get my scrambled eggs with a side of black curly hair baked right in. YUM! Well that just killed everyones appetite. We go to pay and I tell the manager. He said the waitress doesnt posses that authority to change anything on the menu. As for the hair he hands us $1.50 in change for the troubles. Have your emploees wear hairnets or hats I don't want to eat my eggs with hair, Thank you Did I tell you this use to be my favorite place? To leave on a good note they have the best tuna fish I have ever tasted but never again! God only knows whats in there.

Stopped here for breakfast after having bloodwork done at Quest Diagnostics. I needed some food mid-morning after fasting for my test. Anyway, stopped at Long Island Bagel for some eggs and potatoes. The $3.99 breakfast special is really cheap for a lot of food. I got 2 eggs scrambled and requested spinach which they did not charge me for which was cool. The spinach appeared to have been the frozen variety. The eggs didn't have a lot of flavor, I doubt they are farm fresh as specified on the menu, unless they mean a factory farm. The potatoes were fairly good, but I really enjoy red potatoes instead of the peeled white ones. The coffee tasted pretty good, although there was some weird stuff floating in it. I used my spoon to catch it and the waitress came over. She said it's from the coffee maker and promptly brought me a new cup of fresh coffee. I think they need to clean their coffee maker, kind of gross that I had coffee grime floating in my coffee. Service was very friendly and food came out fast. I saved the bagel for my husband so I can't comment on bagel quality. The food is not super high quality, better than McDonald's, but I would prefer Luna Rosa in Delray Beach or BagelWorks on Glades Rd nearby. They were quite busy so I think they get a lot of regulars.

Tasty lox bagels... definitely a little slice of New York... and that's saying a lot for Boca (aka New York South).

Sorry, but this is no long island bagel! Had lunch here with my wife and the service was slow. Bagels came and then we waited 10 mins for the cream cheese to show up. Bagels were hardly baked. Try Brooklyn Bagel in Delray if you want a real taste of home!

Love this place!!!!!!!! Best Bagels in South Florida. They are worth the drive from Broward County. I have eaten here about 15 times in the past month or so and have never had a bad meal. One of the very best values in Boca for breakfast and lunch. They need to open for dinner!!!!!!!!! I'll be back!

Look, they're not true to the Long Island bagel...but what is true to Long Island are the prices. For something about $3.50 I got a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, two scrambled eggs, home fries and coffee that was refilled at least 3 times. This is a place to get together with some friends to enjoy good conversation and a decent meal....leave it at that. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was all fresh. I'll take a mom and pop place over a chain any day of the week.
